Marriages, Weddings, Civil Ceremonies
Your wedding celebration is one of the biggest days of your life, a special occasion that requires careful planning and consideration. A Scottish bagpiper at your wedding is the perfect touch without a doubt!
There are traditional routines for a Bagpipers performance at a wedding. Depending on what you would like, here are a few suggestions.
1) The Piper plays briefly at the Church, before and after the ceremony, then plays in the background whilst photos are being taken.
2) The Piper Pipes the long table (main family) to Dinner. The Piper then Pipes out of the room to collect the Bride & Groom / Wedding couple.
3) At this point the Piper collects the Bride & Groom / Wedding couple, Piping them into the Dinner room to their seats to the tune "Scotland the Brave", you can be assured that this will get the wedding party clapping and create a superb entrance, no doubt about it.
At the point of arrival at the long table the Piper is handed a "Dram" from the Groom / Wedding party and makes a "toast" to the newly married couple. The Piper then Pipes out of the room.
Civil Ceremonies
1) The Piper plays outside the registry office, before and after the ceremony.
2) The Piper plays in the background whilst photos are being taken.
